澳洲生態旅遊協會（Ecotourism Australia, EA）在2018年11月26-28日於昆士蘭州湯斯維爾市（Townsville）舉辦第26屆全球生態亞太旅遊研討會（2018 Global Eco Asia-Pacific Tourism Conference），主題為「生態旅遊-此其時也」（Ecotourism – It’s time），除澳洲本土產官學界人士發表論文外，也有世界其他各國貴賓報告當地發展情形或案例。
