2020亞洲生態旅遊聯盟論壇發表《西嶺雪山宣言》（中英對照）-20200107

2020年亞洲生態旅遊聯盟（Asian Ecotourism Network, AEN）論壇及該聯盟上半年理事會於1/6-9在中國四川省成都市西嶺雪山世界遺產地召開，臺灣生態旅遊協會吳清墩理事代表協會（他同時也是亞洲生態旅遊聯盟的理事）前往參加。

2020年1月7日，亞洲生態旅遊聯盟論壇發表《西嶺雪山宣言》，我將中英文內容同時呈現於下，請參考：

AEN Xiling Snow Mountain Declaration on
Climate Change Adaptation and Redefining Ecotourism Seasonality
亞洲生態旅遊聯盟《西嶺雪山宣言》
——適應氣候變化，重新定義季節性的生態旅遊

We, over 40 experts and participants from different countries and regions in Asia and Asian Ecotourism Network (AEN) participated in ecotourism forum themed “Redefining Ecotourism Seasonality”- the Semi-Annual General Meeting of AEN in Xiling Snow Mountain, Chengdu, China, from January 7th to 9th, 2020. Through extensive and in-depth exchange of views and discussion of all representatives, the Declaration on Xiling Snow Mountain was unanimously adopted.
我們40多位元來自亞太不同國家、地區以及亞洲生態旅遊聯盟的專家和與會者，於2020年1月7日至9日在中國成都西嶺雪山參加了以「重新定義季節性的生態旅遊」為主題的生態旅遊論壇，及亞洲生態旅遊聯盟理事會的半年度會議。通過全體代表廣泛、深入地交換意見和討論，一致通過了《西嶺雪山宣言》。

Recognizing the importance of ecotourism as a tool to sustain the well-being of the local people, conserve culture and environment, and create knowledge and understanding through interpretation and education，
認知生態旅遊作為一種維持當地人民福祉、保護文化和環境、並通過解說和教育來創造知識和增進理解的手段的重要性，

Asian Ecotourism Network hereby
亞洲生態旅遊聯盟在此鄭重宣布:

Solemnly proclaims the following AEN Declaration of Climate Change Adaptation and Redefining Ecotourism Seasonality to be adopted in Asia Pacific countries to adjust to actual or expected climate and seasonal challenges in a sustainable manner:
亞太國家將接受亞洲生態旅遊聯盟有關適應氣候變化和重新定義季節性生態旅遊的宣言，並以可持續的方式應對實際或預期的氣候和季節性挑戰。

1. Understand the dynamism of climate change and seasonalities that affect tourism seasonality;
瞭解影響旅遊季節性的氣候變化的機制;

2. Be aware of credible carbon offset activities that can be undertaken to alleviate the travel-induced impacts;
瞭解能夠採取的可靠的碳補償活動，以減輕旅行造成的影響;

3. Take actions on minimizing carbon footprint through practical tourism design and operation;
通過確實可行的旅遊設計和運營使碳足跡最小化;

4. Seek effective strategies to climate and seasonal adaptation that benefit the local people, visitors, and the industry;
尋求有效的氣候和季節適應策略，使當地居民、遊客和旅遊企業受益;

5. Provide tourism stakeholders and the industry with environmental education opportunities in particular with climate and seasonal adaptations;
為旅遊利益相關者及業界提供環境教育的機會，尤其要提供有關適應氣候及季節性的教育機會;

6. Create favorable conditions for community participation to maintain their sustainable livelihood;
為社區參與創造有利條件來維持當地的可持續生計;

7. Encourage Asia Pacific countries to learn from each other, share good practices, and achieve our common Sustainable Development Goals.
鼓勵亞太國家相互學習、相互借鑒來實現我們共同的可持續發展目標。
